its awesum ong my mom cuold have took this but she took the vxia hg20,i love her job they give hecka awesome gifts like these they gave us an apple laptop and a ps3 awesomeness

yea cause i have the 790, it's almost perfect except for the noise level....so i got the 990 for my mom as a christmas gift, cant wait til she opens it

i can imagine it has. i read a good review saying the same thing. the sd880 is nice but it has some noise issues. i would have gladly had less megapixels if it had meant less noise and less noise-reduction.

990 has better image quality when compared side by side with the 880
